Emergency Response for Road Safety

Centralized Emergency System

A major challenge in road safety is the lack of a coordinated and accessible emergency response mechanism. To address this, Sadak Sathi is working on establishing a Centralized Emergency System that connects hospitals, ambulances, and emergency responders in a seamless network. This system aims to:

  • Ensure quick dispatch of emergency services to accident locations.
  • Improve communication between responders and hospitals for efficient patient care.
  • Leverage technology to enable real-time tracking of emergency response teams.

By collaborating with local authorities, health organizations, and technology partners, we envision a system where accident victims receive immediate and life-saving intervention without delays.

First Aid for Road Traffic Injuries (RTIs)

The first few minutes after a road accident are critical in determining survival and recovery. Many fatalities occur due to the lack of immediate first aid before professional help arrives. At Sadak Sathi, we are working to:

  • Train individuals in essential first aid techniques for road accident victims.
  • Conduct first aid awareness campaigns targeting drivers, pedestrians, and roadside communities.
  • Advocate for first aid training as a mandatory requirement for obtaining a driver’s license.

Through our efforts, we aim to empower people with life-saving knowledge and skills, ensuring that accident victims receive immediate care before reaching medical facilities.

Our Future Plans

Moving forward, we plan to:

01.

Expand first aid training for schools and communities

02.

Partner with services to enhance accident response times

03.

Develop a platform for instant accident reporting and aid
