At Sadak Sathi, we are voluntarily conducting research into AI capabilities to create systems that can automatically detect number plates and issue violation tickets for traffic infractions. This initiative aims to strengthen road safety and improve enforcement by leveraging artificial intelligence to reduce human error and enhance the efficiency of monitoring systems. We are also actively seeking collaborations with other agencies for support in developing and deploying these cutting-edge AI technologies to create smarter, safer roads across Nepal.

Smart Traffic Monitoring and Enforcement

Our research is focused on building an AI-driven system capable of detecting vehicle number plates in real-time using high-definition cameras and advanced image recognition technology. This system will automatically capture and analyze data, identify violations, and issue tickets for offenses like speeding, red light violations, or illegal parking without the need for manual intervention.
