CERT Emergency Mobile Application Launch

The launch of the 'Community Emergency Response Toolkit' CERT mobile application was done during a formal event held at the Durbar High School in Ranipokhari, Kathmandu. The application was designed and developed free of cost by Sadak Sathi for HAPSA. There are 19 videos of lifesaving first aid skills in the app which is also available offline. The videos are in 2 lamguages - Nepali and English.

We decided to develop this application pro bono because it resonates with our goal - using technology to facilitate disaster response and emergency preparedness. As healthcare is still hours away in rural parts of Nepal, this educational application will most definitely help people learn and practice first aid techniques and use it when necessary. This application will be used to educate locals as well as health professionals in rural districts of Nepal like Jumla, Humla, Mugu, Bajhang, Bajura etc.

Get the application on playstore here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.emergency.toolkit&pcampaignid=web_share

The application is soon to be launched in Apple's App Store.
